A recent article by Cosmpolitan Magazine Provides answers for the experimenting question. But don't worry, unlike Cosmo, we tell it like it really is.
Men need sex. It's that simple. Regardless of what the experts and the statistics say, widely known stereotypes indicate that men are horny creatures. Fidelity and trust are common issues that often destroy relationships. We're not saying that men are the only culprits, but they're often known to seek other company when you're either not around or not getting the job done. But why? Are they vicious and cruel? Are they bored? Or is mother nature simply doing her job in the libido department? And can you find a solution to this age-old problem?
While the answer to the "why" question is not the focus of this article, a solution to the problem is. In August of 2003, Cosmopolitan magazine polled 15,000 men for a sex survey. 48% of those polled indicated that their top sexual fantasy involved having a threesome with their girlfriends/wives. So what is it that men liked about this threesome thing? And should you say yes to it?
Cosmopolitan featured an article in their November 2003 issue about threesomes and why men like them. Men interviewed for the article indicated that threesomes give them the best of both worlds. Most want to remain committed, but the desire for new things remains strong. Therefore, having a new woman in the picture kills two birds with one stone. According to Bob Berkowitz, P.h.d., author of His Secret Life: Male Sexual Fantasies, having sex with two women is simply "twice as nice." Also, a menage a trois with one man and two women allows the man to be the center of attention. And best thing is, he's got your permission. Instead of cheating, he gets to do whatever he wants--with you there!!
So is having a threesome worth it in order to keep him around (and loyal)? That's for you to decide. Just remember, if you choose to engage, play it safe; use condoms and other necessary protection. And one last issue to tackle is keeping it private. If he gets it, he'll probably want to gloat. Just keep in mind, girls -- A guy who scores may earn a high five, but the reputation of a slut is forever!
